MIBGAS beats all its records of volume, national demand coverage and active agents in a single day (press release).

Iberian Gas Market beat the highest records in all of its history yesterday. Trade volume was 420 GWh, what resulted in a 38.6% of national demand, due to the active operation of 61 agents during the trading session. This is the first time that these three variables score its historical maximum in MIBGAS and, in this sense, it has been in a single trading session.

Iberian Gas Market is beating all of its records during the first days of April. For instance, national demand coverage was over 30% in three of these days; yesterday, 9 April, the historical record with 38.6%; 5 April with 34.7%; and 4 April with 34.1%.

By the other hand, the number of companies interested in Iberian Gas Market operation is also rising, being currently 90agents which are registered in the platform. 61 of them (68% of total) were active in the MIBGAS platform yesterday, namely, with bid or ask orders in the trading screen.

Additionally, Within Day and Day ahead (D+1) products also beat its trading record yesterday: 209.9 GWh and 108.1 GWh, respectively.
