Axpo Iberia and ENGIE España have been appointed voluntary market makers in the MIBGAS electronic trading platform for the second semester of 2021, as stated in the corresponding Resolution of the Department for Energy Policy and Mines.

The task of the (voluntary) market maker is to stimulate the growth of the liquidity of natural gas wholesale markets by means of achieving the continuous presence of purchase and sale offers on the platform’s screen, specifically in the continuous market.
