Round table session on the regulatory challenges facing the gas sector during the Market Agents Committee’s final session of the year


Tuesday, 13 December saw the holding of the 41st session of the Market Agents Committee (CAM) at the Palacio de Linares. Apart from already being the benchmark forum for communication between MIBGAS agents, last year’s closing presentations showed it to be a driving force in terms of dissemination.

To culminate a year that saw the participation of speakers such as Gonzalo Escribano, head of research and director of the Real Instituto Elcano’s Energy and Climate Change Programme, and IEA (International Energy Agency) analyst Gergely Molnar, this final session of the year featured a round table session entitled “Regulatory Challenges within the Current Context of the Gas Sector”.

Taking part on this occasion were Manuel García Hernández (General Director of Energy and Mining Policy of the Ministry for the Transition and the Demographic Challenge), and Esther Espeja Bragulat, Assistant Director of Markets. Energy Derivatives of the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC). The round table session was chaired by Raúl Yunta Huete, Chairman of MIBGAS.
