This morning, the Chairman of MIBGAS, Raúl Yunta Huete, took part in the Industrial Forum 2021, organised by Gas Industrial, an association that brings together a large part of the large gas consuming industries.

During his speech, the Chairman of MIBGAS pointed out that the current situation we are seeing in gas prices responds to temporary factors and that the forecast is that these prices will recover their equilibrium in the spring.

Raúl Yunta also advocated the development of the natural gas futures market and the importance of promoting forward contracting, stressing that MIBGAS is an organised market with physical delivery of gas and that trading through it helps to minimise risks, as the delivery of gas is guaranteed since all transactions are physical and real.
