MIBGAS Derivatives held two on-demand auctions this morning at the request of an initiating agent. A total of 7000 MWh/d was awarded for the PVB-LPI 27Q1 product at €0.15/MWh, and a further 7000 MWh/d was awarded for the PVB-LPI 27 Jan product at €0.17/MWh, both in the PVB market session.

These new auctions demonstrate the growing interest in this tool, which provides market participants with greater flexibility in their natural gas purchasing and procurement strategies, while also enabling them to secure a competitive and stable supply price.

The results of both auctions are cleared through MIBGAS's central counterparty clearing house (OMIClear), thereby eliminating counterparty default risk.
