NEW CALL FOR THE VOLUNTARY MARKET MAKER SERVICE
Additionally, MIBGAS has just published, on its website, the tendering terms and the calendar of
the call for the voluntary market maker service to be carried out in the second half of 2018. By the
end of June, this service is being provided by the company ENGIE España.

The service of voluntary market maker entered into operation in January 2017 aiming at enhancing
the liquidity of the Market by achieving the continuous presence of bid and ask natural gas offers
on the MIBGAS trading platform. This role does exist on the vast majority of the European organised
markets.
