MIBGAS is now registered as guarantee of origin holder on the Enagás GTS renewable gases platform, which represents one step further towards the sustainability and decarbonisation backed by the company that manages the organised gas market on the Iberian Peninsula.

Hydrogen, biogas and biomethane are the gases that lead the way towards decarbonisation and that is where guarantees of origin have a great deal to contribute. This system accredits that the gas used has been produced using renewable energy and includes relevant information such as the time and place the energy was produced, the type of facility that produced it and what technology was used to do it.
